I’m passing a milestone in September and with this in mind Karina and I thought it would be nice to go away for a few days. We’ve been looking at different islands along the Malaysian coast, which had white beaches, clear blue water and coral reefs for Scuba diving or snorkling. We only wanted to go on a short trip, so we ended up deciding on Pulau Tioman (Tioman Island), which is only 4 hours away from Singapore. There we have booked a cottage in the middle of the jungle with privat spa and lots of space. The resort is called “JapaMala” and is located in the southern part of the Island. I’m really looking forward to this trip as I stil remember the incredible nice snorkling I did 10 years ago when I visited Sumatra with some high school friends.
Initially we wanted the Sea View Chalet, but they are all booked when we go there in the beginning of September. Instead we “had to” book the Sarang Villa !

You only live once (twice if you’re James Bond), so you have to treat yourself once in a while……
